From what I've read we don't have anything to worry about, and in the beginning they considered taking it that way.  I guess I'm more interested in 'can it be done' than worried if it would be done.  I know I've done business with a for-profit arm of Daughters of Charity - health field.

I guess i'm just trying to comprehend if I even should - the speed at which KIVA is growing and the effect it has on me personally.

I guess a simple what has changed for the borrower is enough.  We need to remember that somewhere along the way, most of this must be translated by someone.  I know I can compose and type a lot faster in English than in Spanish.

Samples of good enough:

1.   Marie bought supplies of corn, lime, salt and beans.  She has gone from being able to serve 50 customers per weekend to over 100.  Her costs are lower as she is able to buy in bulk.  This more than doubles her income.  She can afford to send her children to school in the fall.

2.  Susan bought school supplies for her office supply store.  She increased the amount of key school supplies in time for the start of school and avoided stockouts.  She also now supplies calculators dictionaries.  She also has more styles of binders, notebooks and art supplies.  Her sales have increase 15% over last year.

3.  Fred bought two pigs which had 15 piglets.  The piglets are now fully grown, and he sold 12 over the last month.  He now has the two adults and three young sows to breed next year.  His wife was able to buy some chickens from the profit, and they now enjoy fresh eggs as well as sell them.
