Re Jill's post with the many links to wedding photos - I thought I'd seen some over-the-top wedding stuff, but the Lotus Fan Dance in Korea was pretty cool.  I bet people would use it in the US, if more knew about it.

Unfortunately I do not have enough time today to look through all you links, Jill, but clicked at least a bit here and there. And what I saw was really impressive - some beautiful, some strange, but many really worth to look on! Thanks for sharing!  Smiley

Some time ago, I decided to participate in a fledgling organization I somehow or another came across, called youbridge.org   The idea of it was that people like you and I might choose to donate the equivalent of 190 (I think) English pounds to purchase a laptop for a student in one of several developing countries.  Then, if things worked out like the organization’s founders contemplated they might, the donor and donee would then embark on a cross-the-world, cross-cultural Internet communication which had the potential for leading……. well, wherever your imaginations and perhaps fortuity might take you.

Wow, Jill! thanks for the link to this site.  What an amazing thing!  Should we start a group?
