I received my first Journal update last night Cheesy, it was in spanish Roll Eyes

So, I thought I'd make a post to mention (what has been mentioned before in other topics) again the resource of Babelfish.  This will almost translate into English what has been journaled.

I was happy to get an update! no matter what language.

Dear IGIVE Donations,

This is an update on Sandra Verónica Salazar Jara written by Leticia Ramirez:

Thank you for your loan.  It has been disbursed to Sandra Verónica Salazar Jara by Admic Nacional in Mexico.  We are excited to watch this business grow.  Over the next 4 - 10 months, Admic Nacional will be collecting repayments from this entrepreneur and posting progress updates on the Kiva website.

Kiva very much appreciates your responses online.  You can read and respond to this journal online at:
http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=comment&id=14922&ent=17070

Some of our partners choose to write their journal entries in the local language in order to keep their overhead low.  If this journal entry is in a foreign language, please feel free to use an online translator such as Altavista's Babelfish (http://babelfish.altavista.com).

Thanks!

 -- Kiva Staff

how long has that been there, and I thought I was sharing a tip- instead I was just not reading everything. Roll Eyes

Well, Henry, it's been there all along.  Smiley  But you have to get an emailed journal to see it, and the journals have been a little sparce.  So a reminder wasn't out of order.
