Here's a game we can play.  Here are the Rules

The ABC's of KIVA

1.  only one 'is for' per letter to keep the alphabet in smooth motion, it will repeat so don't worry if you don't get to post on a letter you like.

2.  you must follow the order of the alphabet (American), at the end (Z) start over with the (A)  If you go to post something, and you get the red warning:  Someone has already posted you may want to read it, then you took too long, next letter !

3.  No discussion, just type the LETTER and two words followed by what you come up with EX:  "K is for Kivan",  and on the next line, the definition of how you mean the words use.

4.  only one post person - consecutively.

5.  no fancy smileys, font's, sizes, etc.  (Henry says..HUH!?)   OK

6.  Diane or Joe will edit or change or banish you from reality if someone doesn't follow the rules!   Cheesy

This will end up looking something like this:

A is for #######
B is for ##########
C is for #####
etc.
Z is for ####
A is for ###### (ROUND TWO WILL BE THE ABC's OF KIVAFRIENDS)  so let's get this done fast!

Can we do it?   Here we go, I'll start.

Best to read this from Old to New Setting or fast scroll to the bottom, then up.

B is for Borrow
Borrow- as in..that's what the Entrepreneurs need to do..... this time
(Maybe next time, they'll be the Lenders, and we Lenders will have to BORROW).

or, maybe BORROW is what we Lenders will have to do
after we max out all our credit cards, write fraudulent checks to have more money to Lend,
get busted for the felony of Writing Checks with Insufficient Funds,
and we need money to Post Bail to stay out of jail.

H is for Horizontal growth
growth based on replicating a standardized retail model in new geographic areas. Although horizontal growth has been the norm for MFIs, simple horizontal expansion can make it difficult to quickly introduce new products or changes to products.
