I did a quick search and finding no other apparent posts on the subject, I thought it might be permissible to start a new thread,

I participated in a few loans today for borrowers in Mozambique.  I later noticed that no MFI was listed on the borrower's profile.  I can't recall seeing this before (and I usually do pay attention to such details before I participate).

Does anyone have any idea as to which MFI is posting these loans?

Could you post links to some of these loans so we can see what you're talking about?  I've never seen this before; thanks!

EDIT:
OK, I found one:  http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=16364

While the MFI's name/info aren't showing on the listing, when yo uclick on the "more info about this MFI" link, it takes you to a page about FDM (Fundo De Desenvolvimento Mulher), a 4-star rated MFI.  You should send email to Kiva and let them know these listings aren't showing the MFI completely -- does anyone know who at Kiva.org would be the best person to email?

Here is one Diane and Meri too....I just went and looked to see if any of them were still being funded...on the borrowers page there is no MFI listed, however, if you click on the link that says "more on this Field Partner " it takes you to Mozambique > FDM (Fundo De Desenvolvimento Mulher) which is the MFI and brand new to Kiva.

Hope this helps.

Many thanks, Queen!  I had not thought to click on the "More on this field partner link" as none was listed.  Silly me :-)

not to worry....we are all more than happy to help immerse you into the den of addiction along with the rest of us!!

Oh, I don't think Meri needs to be immersed. With more than 250 loans in her portfolio I think that she has already jumped into the pool of addiction.....

LOL KEDS.  I think you are well and truly right:  I am quite well immersed in Kiva.  Nonetheless, I think QueenOfHearts had both Kiva and KivaFriends in mind with her much appreciated comment.  It is always good to find friends--even for "addicting" activities.

PS. Thanks, Henry!

Meri, I think my KIVA Faux Pas makes your 'unique' loan look normal!   And, a big welcome to KIVA Friends!  Welcome
