That's a great idea, Diane!

Two of my colleagues at the bank I work have a great interest in microfinance. One is actually as a volunteer in Peru (but not for Kiva as far as I know) and the other one is planning a world trip including volunteering and I told him everything I know about Kiva and he loves it Smiley

Hi Anita,

Let me add my welcome to those you have already received.

There is a pretty comprehensive list of Kiva-related Tweeters already on this forum you can find them in the KivaFriends who use Twitter thread.

Happy lending!

That is why the United States will partner with any Muslim-majority country to support expanded literacy for girls, and to help young women pursue employment through micro-financing that helps people live their dreams." - President Barack Obama, June 4, 2009

Flip it over and use a thick coin (such as a nickel) to turn the plastic stopper until it will lift out.

Hey hey Im Steve--after reading through some recent posts and Kiva news discussion Im trying to figure out if I have the right place here!!!   Wink  Seems as Im starting to consider re-loaning again, many are opting the other way.  Not quite what I remembered at the time of my absence, but anyhow, hope you guys dont mind me jumping back into the fray now and then and look forward to catching up with things again.  Please, no personal messages saying something to the effect of, "Not you again...!!"  Lol, kidding kidding....

Thanks Patricia, you are too kind--I figure it will take as long to catch up as compared to the amount of time I spent away!!!  I saw the calendar somehow on Kiva.org and was very pleasantly surprised to see it accomplished--I was so very pleased--great job to everyone involved--it looks fantastic front to back.  That eventually led me back to KF, couldnt stay away forever.
