Fiona,

Thank you for the clarification!  It helps to know what the parameters are likely to be and that the support is there; right now all work is behind the scenes setting things up.

We already had limitations on which photos we could use--for clarity and pixels, so we can just accept that there will be a different type of filter as well.  In some ways, it will make the voting and selection process simpler.  Meanwhile, let's be on the lookout for other digital cameras so some of the partners who take fuzzy pictures can get equipment upgrades.  Maybe the potential of appearing on a calendar will inspire some extra effort by the partner's photographers!  Hmmm, maybe we could give credit to the photographer...

It is wonderful that this tool is available for promoting the Kiva mission.

Thanks so much Fiona, I have to give you a ton of credit...its overflowing right now  Shocked  The fact that you guys are really taking time to include something like this on your unbelievably and what must have been long becoming your characterisically busy schedules, speaks volumes.  The support and permission of Kiva is absolutely everything, and subsequent calendars stand or fall entirely on that basis, so we all can't thank you enough.

In addition to Colettes comment, I think its worth considering not only crediting photographers, but also mentioning the MFI itself for each particular loan.  Perhaps this year we might also be able to send these over to the MFIs and those featured inside...not to be pushing it...its totally acceptable if we cant, but that would be a nice added bonus for us and them.

I find not direction in the readings of those with whom my eccentricities are similar, but rather validation.

My only solace is that I find a peaceful place where I might be resigned to my depriving loneliness.

Wow! Carol brought over a few calendars for me as I missed getting some of my own.  I am incredibly impressed with the calendar and think it is quite beautiful.  Considering what a short time this was all put together, all I can say is WELL DONE and thank you Kiss!

Add Morocco to the long line of countries the calendar made its way to...I sent one to a contact I had there from years past...Rabat to be exact, about 40 miles north of Casablanca.

Hi Michael,

and welcome to KivaFRiends...unfortunately there is no reprint for this year. The time to reprint would be too long and this was basically a test run for 2008. We hope to produce many more next year and then you'll hopefully get one. Sorry!
