Richard,

I just now stumbled upon this and have to say: Well done. I think it's the first really positive feedback we're getting regarding GCs to celebrities.

Thanks for taking that effort!

Just an update on a GC to Ellen...you can probably guess she has yet to redeem it, or even open it...who knows...its been about 3 months...Im sure it could take much longer...but it also had me thinking that celebrities are probably extremely careful about anything involving money and then factor in that they have to open an account, use YOUR email address to redeem the funds sent to them, and it all becomes quickly and easily suspicious for those completely unfamiliar with Kiva...and Im not faulting Kiva for anything, I love their GC process, only stating the obvious as it pertains to celebrities...just an afterthought, but I still think its a great idea to increase awareness and dont want to discourage anyone from trying it out...it only takes one or two successfully redeemed GCs to a celebrity to realize that the word probably will have reached much further than that single individual, and that makes the efforts all worthwhile.

I find not direction in the readings of those with whom my eccentricities are similar, but rather validation.

My only solace is that I find a peaceful place where I might be resigned to my depriving loneliness.
