Dearest Fellow Lenders!

Here's your chance to submit your local English language radio programs where you'd like to hear Kiva covered.  By local we mean non-syndicated radio programs that are aired primarily in your area/state/province.

When doing so, include the program name and website.  Feel free to suggest a show theme, especially if other programs on the radio station/network have covered Kiva in the past.  If this will be the radio station/network's first exposure to Kiva, a "generic" show on Kiva (ie what is is, how to get involved, etc) will probably suffice.

The specific radio program doesn't solely have to cover "global" or "humanitarian" issues.  For example, a radio cooking program might cover Kiva in regards to the charitable loans being made to food entrepreneurs around the world.  Your local morning talk show is a good suggestion as well.

Happy posting!

Hi Patrick!

I live in New Haven, CT and regularly listen to "The Faith Middleton Show" on Connecticut Public Radio.  The show's website is: http://www.wnpr.org/RadioMiddleton.asp   I'm pretty sure Kiva has not been covered by Faith, but I'm convinced she'll love the program idea.  Here's a short description of the program:
For 26 years, we've explored important social issues, health, art and of course, food! We've opened up our phone lines, so you can join us in discussing war, politics and your favorite books.
Feel free to contact me if you need any other help on the show from a listener's perspective.

I hope to hear Kiva on Faith's show soon!

I would love to hear something on KNPR's State of Nevada program.  They did a piece on June 20th ( http://knpr.org/son/archive/detail.cfm?programid=1356) which is where i first heard of Kiva.  It would be nice to do a follow up on Kiva only.

Please tell me this is still being offered!

I'm spreading the word about Kiva throughout all of West Michigan, where a uniquely low percentage of the population is aware of Kiva at all.  Aside from simply being strange, it's a problem.  And one that I'd like to solve as much as possible.

If this effort is still being used, then I'd love to provide a few stations.  I've also spread the word to some friends in neighboring states on Kiva programs they could launch, and I'm sure they'd do whatever they could to make it work.
