Someone told me that I did something today which brightened their day which is a heckuva surprise for me - I usually do the opposite   

Anyway, that being said, I thought we might try a new thread where we can go when we all need a lift.  A thread with things to cheer us up - a nice song, a funny video, words of inspiration or whatever.

So I am hoping people will contribute to this thread for the benefit of all of us when we’ve had a Ruff day (as Ben my dog would say).

And to start, I’d like to present again (but in this new thread) the thing that caused this idea to come to fruition.  Enjoy

Thank you Steve - that was very nice.  I never saw it before and will certainly share it with my Jane in the morning.

Two things which move me are What a Wonderful World (thanks Wolfgang for reminding me of that one) and the Wizard of Oz.  I guess everyone of us has a sting deep inside our hearts which resonates love and happiness when something comes along to set it in motion.
