I am not sure if this is a new feature on Global Giving, at least it was new to me when I found it yesterday.

If you follow this link here
http://www.globalgiving.org/matching/ you will find a list of projects where generous sponsors have offered to match donations. So if you choose to help one of these projects your donations will have an even higher impact!
Free and Educate 300 Bonded Nepali GirlsMatching of donations: 100% (total funds available: $18,000)
This project rescues 300 young Nepali girls from bonded servitude and provides them with six years of education, which will enable them to graduate from high school.
Touched by the contrast between the lives of their own grandchildren and the impoverished children around the world, this couple hopes that their “Global Grandparents” initiative can help make a positive and sustained difference in the lives of children in Nepal.
This project seems to have been such a great success that they have already reached their funding goal of $105,000

. However, donating is still possible and the matching offer is still there so it might be still available for further funding.

Secondary School for Mozambican GirlsMatching of donations: 100% (total funds available: $25,000)
This project give young girls in rural Mozambique scholarships for the 8th, 9th, and 10th grades, with after-school and social worker support, giving them a new opportunity: to gain economic freedom.
Inspired by her visit to this project earlier this year, an anonymous donor has generously provided matching funds to motivate others to give - and in doing so, altering the courses of these young girls’ lives. These scholarships not only provide girls with a secondary education, but also the tools to gain economic freedom.

Create a Safer World – Fight Terrorism Through GivingMatching of donations: 100% (total funds available: $35,000)
Education, health care, and economic opportunity counter the influence of extremists in Afghanistan, Pakistan and other countries by weakening their base of community support. Help us build a world in which the appeal of lives lived in dignity, opportunity, and hope triumphs over the allure of extremism and its use of terrorist tactics.
The Safer World Fund encourages people to fight terrorism by addressing some of its root causes. Basic education, vocational training and health care open doors for impoverished people around the world, particularly women and children. The Safer World Fund is composed of projects in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
