Just a short blurb, but Tech Nation, aired on my local NPR station on Sunday January 23, interviewed Don Tapscott (Author of Wikinomics:  How Mass Collaboration Changes Everything) who mentioned Kiva's role in providing microfinance assistance to rural farmers.
