I read not only the borrowers profile/request, but the information about the Field Partners.

Please consider adding a feature to add field partners to a favorite list so that i can continue looking for loans from those field partners.

Hi GPF,

We at KivaFriends.org can discuss the merits of suggested changes to the Kiva.org, but we're not in a position to actually make changes to the Kiva.org site as it isn't our site. We here at KivaFriends are a community of Kiva Lenders not owners of the Kiva.org site.

Suggestions regarding the Kiva.org website can be directed to Kiva.org under "contact us" ... maybe under the heading "Feedback".

One suggestion I might offer you about favourite MFI's is to keep track of which countries they loan in and then do a search by country on the "Find Loans" page. This should help filter loans you might be interested in.

Hope this helps ... Rick

Rick,

Thanks for the kind words and referral back to Kiva.org. On another post i did on Kiva friends, someone names Roma from Kiva.org contacted me and said that they liked the idea and that they were looking in to implementing it. At least something close to that.

so it gives me confidence that what we discuss in Kiva Friends does get read by Kiva.org folks. I don't like using the contact us email for Kiva because they are understaffed and while my suggestion may hold merit, other pressing matters should get priority. When i have used contact us email for kiva.org, they have contacted me back within a few hours.

thanks again Rick.

You can open up an MFI, and there was a button to see all Fundrasing Loans, and a button to see All Loans by this MFI.

That's how I have been looking at all the open loans for a specific MFI.

Oh, Sandy that's a much better suggestion than I offered. Thanks ... Rick

The Kiva staff do indeed read our posts and have taken some of our suggestions to heart.  We like to think we keep them on their toes!!

GPF,

A couple of us at Kiva Friends are compiling a list of attributes that are found in MFI's and then putting which partners advance have those attributes.  So far North and Central America and Eastern Europe are covered.  Some examples would be health care, education and job training.  Maybe this will help you determine which partners are closest to your aspirations.

Colette,

May I trouble you to elaborate on that. Not sure if I understand what your endeavor is.
