Here's a topic to link and post Kiva entrepreneur images that may be suitable for desktop wallpapers and screensavers.

Here are some Kiva staff and lender collages to add to the mix.

 Thumbs Up Great job, Richard!

I have my desktop wallpaper set on random and can hardly wait to see one of your mosaics pop up. And I plan on trying to make my own from the directions you put up on the same thread you linked to here. TIA!

Hi Leslie, thanks.

One thing to keep in mind about the discussion topic mosaic directions I posted is that those directions are just for showing groups of images linked into Kiva Friends discussions.  The pictures I attached to some posts for wallpapers for this topic were created differently.  For those, I started from scratch and assembled the same images into one picture with a graphics program then uploaded that new image.  You'll need something like Photoshop to do that.

Wow, glad I read your warning before I tried....saved me a ton of frustration.  Embarrassed
As I don't have Photoshop, I will just wait and see if you come up with more mosaics....no pressure, of course... Grin

Leslie, it seems to me this topic is as good a place as any to discuss possible subjects for collages/mosaics or any other styles of wallpapers people might like to track down or produce.  Smiley

Obviously, the Kiva Press Center - Image Gallery is another great source of potential Kiva entrepreneur (and staff  Wink) wallpapers.  Thumbs Up Yes

Thanks Richard,

For the collages/mosaics. They are all wonderful (but I do have favorites).
Do you know if the process would work in Picassa2?

Thanks,

Where today are the Pequot? Where are the Narragansett, the Mohican, the Pokanoket, and many other once powerful tribes of our people? They have vanished before the avarice & the oppression of the White Man, as snow before a summer sun. Hi Geoff,

You know what they say, "(S)He who makes the mosaic, picks the pics!"  Cool  Laugh

I don't know much about Picasa2, so I tried to use it to make a collage.  The "Create - Picture Collage... - Type: Picture Grid" makes a collage in a snap!  However, it didn't ask me anything about how to do it, like what to include, order or size!  Cry

There may be ways to tell it more what to do, but the typical trade-off in things like this is speed and simplicity at the loss of control.

It's certainly worth giving it a go.  I can't wait to see your creations!  Smiley
