I made my first donation yesterday, and the contact info I entered into PayPal was put into my Kiva account automatically. This is really not a good idea because first, the billing info is not necessarily the same as the contact info, second I don't want my address info to show in my kiva profile, and third, it is a privacy issue when the info you give to one organization (Paypal) is passed to another organiztion (Kiva) without your permission.
I sincerely request that Kiva stop this functionality- my paypal info should not be retained by Kiva at all.

I just made a donation to
this single mom in Cameroon and the same thing happened to me.
My complete Paypal address information was populated into the address settings for my Kiva account, and then my home city and state were displayed under my name on all the borrower's pages of all the loans I've made. (I display the state by choice, but would rather not display the city.)
I had to go back to my Kiva account settings and clear out the newly inserted address information.
As I recall, this was a problem earlier in the year and seemed to have been fixed. Now it looks like it's back, and I agree -- this shouldn't happen.
